Artista multidisciplinar, Antonio Suárez es pintor, escultor Interiorista y artista gráfico. A fines de los 60 comenzó a estudiar en la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, y en 1974 terminó su formación.

Artist multidisciplinary, Antonio Suárez is painter, sculptor, interior designer and graphic artist. At the end of the 60s he began studying at the school of applied arts and in the circle of fine arts of Madrid, and in 1974 finished his training.

 

En 1981 fue seleccionado para realizar la escultura Madroño de Oro, premio otorgado por el Alcalde de Madrid, Enrique Tierno Galván, a los medios de comunicación en las Fiestas de Madrid.

En 1988 participó en nuevas tendencias de artistas de España en el Salón International de Arte 88 en Basilea (Suiza), y tres años más tarde su obra fue seleccionada en el Museo de la Real Academia de San Fernando de Madrid para la programación del fomento de las nuevas tendencias artísticas.

In 1988 he participated in new trends of artists from Spain at the International exhibition of art 88 in Basel (Switzerland), and three years later his work was selected for the Museum of the Royal Academy of San Fernando in Madrid for the programming of the development of new artistic trends.

 

 En 1992, incentivado por el avasallamiento de la última tecnología digital, comenzó a estudiar nuevos métodos de creación y soportes de obra gráfica. Tres años después presentó su trabajo, Evocaciones, en el Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid , en el que estaban incorporadas técnicas digitales.

En este trabajo pudo el artista plasmar en soportes tradicionales sus obras infográficas (que denominó en el Registro de la Propiedad Intelectual de Madrid como Serinfografías, Litoinfografías, Quiminfografías, además de soportes digitales).

Entre 1998 y 2000 trabajó en el desarrollo y edición del libro de dibujos y poesías: Dibujos de Bar y Notas del Alma, con la colaboración de poetas del grupo Arte Total. Entre 2000 y 2003 nuevamente desarrolló novedosos

métodos digitales para obra gráfica.

Su estilo fue en sus inicios figurativo, luego se inclinó hacia el expresionismo abstracto hasta llegar a la vanguardia. Como ya se dijo, estuvo inmiscuido en el estudio de las distintas posibilidades que la tecnología digital y distintos medios técnicos le permitieran trabajar en la plástica.

His style was in its infancy figurative, then leaned toward the expressionism to the forefront. As already stated, he was involved in the study of the different possibilities that technology digital and different technical means allowed to work in the plastic.

 

¿Cómo lo hace? El trabajo comienza en cuadros pintados de forma tradicional para luego pasar al tratamiento digital, termina transportando la obra final a distintos soportes para obra gráfica, como serigrafía, litografía,

así como en nuevos soportes químicos y magnéticos.
